The reward of seeking God in early morning =)

I wonder...

Because of work, I missed Christmas Caroling
She told me, "We had lots of fun."
He told me, "You missed the fun."

Because of work, I missed her birthday celebration
He told me,"You missed the fun."

Yes, I missed the fun
I missed the time spend with brothers and sisters
All because of WORK!

On my way back home
I pondered on this
I wondered why I was allowed to experience this

I knew I need to be always ready to serve
Indeed, when I was ready
Doors opened
One after another

I wonder if God is preparing me to be ready to sacrifice fun in some point of time in the journey of serving through these little lessons

I just pray that working won't take up too big portion of my time to the extend of affects my serving

一宿虽有哭泣，早晨必欢呼；主的恩典乃是一生之久

那天，听到一个姐妹的祷告
＂。。。神啊，在这样内忧外患的情况下，他依然依靠祢，你几时才要施行拯救。。。＂

哦。。听到她的祷词才发现以这个词来形容那个光景其实真的很贴切。我从来没有想过也。我想，就算是内忧外患，只要仰望祂、紧紧地抓住祂，就算是大风大浪也能安然渡过。虽然那个过程并不容易挨，但只要凭信心仰望那创始成终的耶稣，黑夜很快就会过去，取代而之的是带着盼望和温暖的黎明。

新的一天，新的恩典，新的旅程，全新的你。

When Hope is Deferred

"So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the top of his head. Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes. His wife said to him, 'Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!'" (Job 2:7-9).

I walked into the room and Angie burst out crying. "I'm so discouraged! I don't know what else to do. Will I ever get better!?" After three years of fighting a medical condition the doctor just told her no progress had been made in the last six months of treatments. Alternative treatment was needed that might have more severe side effects.

Great men of God with healing ministries had prayed for her. Thousands had prayed for Angie through our ministry. A string of doctors had failed to yield any position results. When hope is deferred, the psalmist says, the heart becomes sick. During these seasons, we can only do one thing. We must hang onto whatever faith we have to get through each day and entrust our lives to Him. "Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior" (Hab 3:17-18).

When faith doesn't see results it challenges what we believe. We must pray as Job prayed: "Teach me what I cannot see" (Job 34:32). God says there is a purpose in everything we go through. Later that day Angie talked to a friend who once had the same issues, but was now better. "Angie, God is going to reveal things to you through this season of adversity that you would never receive had you not gone through this. This is part of your calling even though Satan is the instrument. God is always bigger than Satan's afflictions."

Our greatest tests come when we cannot see positive results from our faith and obedience. In such cases we must die to our expectations and entrust them to our Lord.

Another birthday post. Well..I know this post should come earlier but..but..I was a bit too busy to post. =p

Though they're still young and small in size, they are HEAVY!!!
Ning thinks that she's still baby.
She likes people to carry her rather than walking by herself.
She will tell you that, "I'm still young." when you ask her to walk.

I was in PJ on my birthday
thanks to the pitch, I spent whole day at home preparing for the pitch
I thought my birthday is gonna be boring this year
because
cannot go anywhere but stay at home(PJ) preparing for the pitch
tak ada internet access
cant even meet up with buddies though i was in KL
but..
have to be grateful
I submitted the day to the Lord the day before
so no matter how the day goes
I should be thankful because He knows what's best for me
=)

very very happy
received many blessings and wishes through sms, phone calls, testi in friendster and also facebook
I received presents too

I was happy that I 'celebrated' my bday in a special way with my 'bond'
early in the morning she sent me a mail
hmm..should be 'forwarded' not 'sent'
I accessed to my mail and read it in the afternoon through hp
it's a mail she sent to her leader regarding an important decision and her feelings
after I read the mail
I felt God was prompting in my heart
I smsed her and told her what I felt
guess what
she said she felt the same in the morning
AMAZING!!!

we continued to chit chat through sms until sunset
it was great and special way spending time together

in the evening
ma asked if I want to celebrate my birthday
OF CAUSE!

I thought of this nice place called 'the apartment'
remembered gel mentioned it to me long ago
never got a chance to try

while waited outside the restaurant, surprisingly I met CK and his gf

Sunway Carnival Mall

It's my first time visited to Sunway Carnival Mall, Butterworth last Sunday night. It's bigger than I thought.
I went there for dinner with my parents. I saw this "Is pancake and pasta" shop in the directory and I wanted to try out but sadly it's closed. We ended up in Sake Sushi.
After dinner, Chelle called up when I was doing my window shopping. I told her that I was doing my window shopping in Sunway Carnival and her sister thought there's carnival in penang and she wanted to come. hehe.

巧遇昔日同窗

到Tesco购物时，有个男生近前来跟我打招呼。
男生：＂嗨，还记得我吗？＂
我迟疑地说：＂嗯，很眼熟。＂
男生有点失望地说：＂不记得啦？＂
我想了想，一个名字从汪洋脑海中浮现：＂志豪？！＂
他腼腆又释怀地笑笑默认。
聊了几句，交换电话号码。
＂得空出来吃饭。＂
然后，结束了我们的谈话。

他是我的小学同学，若没记错应该是一年级到四年级的同班同学。
小学毕业后，今天可是第一次遇见他。

我想就算多年不见，我应该很容易被认出吧。
因为我的长相从小到大都没有太大的改变。=)

Hokkien Mee

What so special about this hokkien mee?

This is famous Peng Hwa hokkien mee. It used "bah kut" instead of prawn as the main ingredient for the soup. It used to sell inside Peng Hwa High School but now it has moved out to the kopitiam opposite Peng Hwa High School. RM2.50 for small one and RM3.00 for big one.

Actually, I thought of ah gong when I had hokkien mee for lunch.

So..ah gong..this is for you. lol

there's car show on going at auto-city, penang these two days. people went there for car show and lam fong(singer+actor from HK), we went there for work. hmm...weird right..education has nothing to do with car right. but..since someone has a booth there and he offered us to share half of the place with him(he has no free gift to give out to customer. he thought he can use our free trial classes as free gifts.) and it's free so we thought why not we give it a try. after a few hours there, we realized that those who went are mostly youngsters where our targets are parents and children. due to hot weather and no customer, we ended up lepak in those places like starbucks, old town kopitiam, manhattan fish market, ice ice baby, etc. lol. after few hours boring sessions, all of us decided not to come for sunday's roadshow. on the very night we packed all things and balik.

his story

Few months ago, they left to another church.
Many just don't understand why.
Today, he is going through the valley of life.
For some reasons, he don't feel comfortable attending current church.
After a few months, they have already settled down.
They are ready to entertain and follow up him.

Definitely, God knew what's going to happen now long ago.
He prepared them to be in another church so that when he seems to have no one to turn to, they are there for him.

God is good and His timing is just perfect.

Finally, I got it!!!
I wanted to buy a new bilingual bible for months as my old one dah koyak.
I've been looking for a new bible but strangely it's either I couldn't find the one I like or it's out of stock.
I placed an order last two weeks and a girl from the bookstore called me up yesterday saying that the shipment has arrived.
Yea..so..that's my new bilingual bible!!!!!
