Obake-ya 監獄居酒屋 vs Mizi Bistro

Few of us celebrated early birthday for Shyuan. At first thought of going to Little Castle but that girl tak boleh tunggu, went already. So, ended up we decided to visit Obake-ya.

(me, yen & wooi felt dizzy when we're having our meal&after come out from there lo)
Food rating : 1/10
(the most popular food & boss recommended food also not nice geh.
Sashimi not fresh. kimchi terlalu masin. tofu sauce terlalu masin. drink taste weird.)
Price rating : 1/10
(expensive! the portion which shown in menu is double the actual size)

After we had our appetizer(due to the size), we were unable to decide whether we should order some more food or we should change makan place. After long consideration, we decided to change place. Our next station was *dang dang dang* MIZI BISTRO

(the food is really yummy but not all in the menu, some ok only)

Dear all,

My name is Phyllis, and I'm Shieh Nee's friend.

I'm not sure how many of you know Shieh Nee personally. But, I would like to inform all of you that she has just passed away to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on the 22nd of January 2008 at around 9.45pm in Westmead hospital, Sydney, Australia.

She was diagnosed with colon cancer in June 2007. The cancer spread to the liver and this eventually caused her liver to fail.

Please continue to pray for the bereaved family at this time. The funeral date and time has yet to be confirmed. If you would like to know, kindly email to Pastor Tay at 2bless2build@gmail.com

HUH??!!! I'm soooooo shock!
I...I...dunno what to say...

..Shieh Nee..
She is my senior in both PCGHS and TARC PG. She stayed in the apartment next to my housing area when we're in secondary school. She is a smart, cheerful and easy-going girl. I didn't receive any news from her after she grad. 2-3 years later, which is today..I received a news from her by a friend.

I'm amazed at God's work

..Yesterday Nite..
Tim called up in super bad mood. He has just lost his punch card and bank book. He was very anxious because he thought all his working records is gone and he can't get his salary.

Tim questioned in anger and disappointment, "What have I done wrong? Today is just 22^nd day of 2008, why so many things happened to me?! Firstly, my best friend met a serious accident, followed by my family are facing some problem, and also something happened in my school, , and then a break-in case happened in the church and my wife(guitar) has been stolen, lastly, I lost my punch card and bank book!"

Oh dear, what a tough experience and I could imagine how's he looked like when he was counting those bad things that happened to him. Have you ever seen Volcano erupted before? Either in real or in TV shows? You know, after the eruption, the ash and gases will escape from the surface below. Yea! That's the picture.

Being a friend and a brother's keeper, I chit chat with him and asked him to spend some time after he cool down and then think of two things that he can be grateful of from the deepest of his heart in such situation. (it's not easy to do so because when you're angry, your brain doesn't work.)

After a long talked, I told him to rest early.

Tim said, "God wanted to give me a great present and now I know what is that present. I'm so happy."

wEn said, "旧的不去，新的不来. Thank God for that."

Tim said, "God wants to give me a new life. He took away all the old things. I believe that God will lead me in achieving a new level in my spiritual walk with Him."

wEn said, "Amen."


Yea..Amen!! What a wonderful God we have. I'm amazed at the God's work on Tim that his mind and attitude could totally change overnight. HE is the LORD our God that can make things new.

THREE BULLETS

There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets. So, he decided that he would go out hunting and kill some wild game for dinner.

As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away.

Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel and missed it.

The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood tree. As he went further, he saw a large wild 'Tom' turkey in the tree, but he had only one bullet remaining.

A voice spoke to him and said, 'Pray first, aim high and stay focused.'

However, at the same time, he saw a deer which was a better kill. He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake.

Still, the voice said again to him, 'I said 'Pray, Aim high and Stay focused.'

So, the man decided to listen to God's voice. He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree and shot the wild turkey. The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer. The handle fell off the gun and hit the snake in the head and killed it.

And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond. When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer and a turkey to eat for his family.

The snake (Satan) was dead simply because the man listened to God.

Moral of the story:

Pray first before you do anything, Aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God. Never let others discourage you concerning your past. The past is exactly that. 'the past.'

Live every day one day at a time and remember that only God knows our future and that He will not put you through any more than you can bear. Do not look to man for your blessings,

but look to the doors that only.

He has prepared in advance for you in your favor.

Wait, be still and patient: keep God first and everything else will follow.

Incident in the night

A girl has been robbed nearby my staying apartment.

Just few second before I get down from my car. I heard a girl screaming then I saw a girl was pulling something with the motorist. Two guards from nearby condo ran out to help. Unfortunately they couldn’t help any as the robbers already hilang diri when they reached there.

The girl is injured and was horrified by the incident. She kept repeating “I have been robbed. I have been robbed. Two men in a motor robbed me.”

Phew~
Suddenly I realized how bad is the public security in my area. I told mom about that when I reached home then she said orr..she saw that happened in our area before. I was like Ah?!sweat...

Thank God for His protection and covering. If I were to get down from the car one minute or few seconds earlier I may be the victim.

Give thanks with a grateful heart~

Ps Siang Ghee and family have been leaving to Aussie.

Everyone is feeling hard to let them go but at the same time also knowing that it's God's will for them to go over to Aussie. God has a great plan for Pastor. God is going to enlarge his territory.

Pastor kept asking us to visit him in Aussie. Haha..We wonder whether his house is big enough for so many of us to bump in. Well..yea..I hope that one day I can make it to pay a visit there.

Yesterday was Kelvin's wedding day. Get to know him when I started to attend CCOP back in 1994. I still remember there's one Sunday, dunno who started it and forgotten why we kept calling him aunty Kelvin. It has been a long time I didn't see him since he further his study.
The wedding dinner was held in G-Hotel, a newly opened Hotel with a nice reception hall. The ballroom is nice, the waiter provides good serving, the food is nice, the bride is PRETTY and the bridegroom is HANDSOME. Hahaha..
